Red Tourmaline and Black Tourmaline

Red Tourmaline(Rubellite) provides love, inspiration, and support. It strengthens the ability to understand love, soothes the emotional heart, helps to overcome fears concerning abundance, survival, stability and safety, and supports those who feel isolated. It draws upon Universal Love for healing, and suggests that “heartbreak” can be “heart-opening,” and grief can be as valuable as joy. It expands one’s awareness of true abundance - the sense that all we need is provided by Spirit. Opening the heart to others and the world and receiving this abundance allows a sense of peace and fulfillment.

Black Tourmaline provides protection, grounding, and calming. Protects you against energy drainers and emotional vampires. It also shields against environmental pollutants, electromagnetic smog, and radiation associated with cell phones, computers, and other electronic equipment. Black Tourmaline is a stone of purification and cleanses the emotional body of negative thoughts, anxieties, anger or feelings of unworthiness.
